JFC v8

The JFC V8 is the world’s first Hayabusa V8 utilizing a billet Monobloc design structure. It offers a great marriage of simplicity and strength which aid in its high levels of power density and longevity. Our in-house machining capabilities take a near-300 pound billet of aluminum and transform it into the 37lb jewel you see below.

Endurance Racing

After our focus on vintage racing came to an end, we quickly transitioned into endurance racing with more modern prototype cars. Our first endurance effort was the Wolf GB08S in 2014. Since then, we have been regulars at races like the Cascade 8 Hour Endurance as well as the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. We have built a new chassis almost every year striving to bring the fastest car around the track, starting at or near pole position every year. Our builds have culminated with our Lola LMP2 chassis with our twin turbo 2.8L JFC Hayabusa V8.  

Lola B12/80

Our Lola B12/80, chassis #MM08, was campaigned from 2012 through 2016 by factory Mazda team Speed Source. The car was originally developed using the Mazda Skyativ diesel power unit. Though we did not retain the engine package at time of purchase we inherited the gearbox, axles, and associated spares that were engineered for very high levels of torque, giving us the perfect platform to utilize and develop the full potential of our JFC V8 twin turbo engine. Existing CAD data played a crucial role in completing our conversion by providing accurate means of measurement and reference for engine fitment which drastically shortened the development time for this conversion. The LMP2 chassis is now fitted with our JFC twin turbo 2.8L Hayabusa V8 producing 785hp and 505 ft/lbs in endurance racing trim. This far surpassed the LMP2 spec and transforms the car into something even more special. 

Radical

Our Radical SR8, chassis #00085, serves as the development car for our JFC V8 engine conversion package. Main conversion components consist of a two-piece CNC’d rear bellhousing, custom headers, larger improved airbox, and fabricated front engine mount. No modifications to the original body will be required. This conversion is currently in-progress and pictures will be updated, lending viewers to follow along. 

Wolf GB08-MJ

The GB08-MJ was the first chassis to receive a JFC V8 heart transplant. For the 2016 25hrs of Thunderhill we wanted to up the ante with our billet Hayabusa V8 package. Even after we were hit in the middle of the night we fought back to 3rd place in class, achived fastest racing lap, and was the first year we finished the entire race. It was then we knew the engine had proven itself in the toughest conditions. We now campaign the same chassis with a smaller 4 cylinder engine in the top SCCA prototype class.
