Applications

the JFC-V8 has been proven and tested in a variety of applications

JFC Racing has all the capabilities necessary to install a JFC Hayabusa V8 into your custom project. Most projects start with a discussion of power and build requirements. There are many options to suit different project needs. Next 3D scanning and measuring the engine bay helps to determine the space requirements of the installation. Because of its small size the JFC V8 fits into tight quarters and allows for packaging oiling and water systems. The next steps of the process are done virtually in CAD to create adapters or custom components for mating to the chassis and your selected gearbox. We have worked with several gearbox manufactures and may be able to provide recommendations based on application. During this time the custom engine build is blueprinted and finalized. Once the mounted components are designed and machined in house, the billet engine can be installed in the chassis for fabrication of the cooling and oiling systems. Fabrication of the headers begin next, removing exhaust heat from the engine bay as well as producing the best power and sound for the package. The engine is then removed for dyno mapping with its respective induction and exhaust systems. When mapping is complete the JFC V8 can go back into the chassis for final installation and prep for the first in chassis test.
