Mike Lutz: Mike has extensive experience designing, building, restoring and fabricating many types of cars.  He has built, modified, and raced stock cars in IMSA, USAC, ASA and local short tracks.  He has designed and fabricated Modified Production and Super Stock Drag cars, travel sand cars, and class 4&8 trucks.  He has also restored and repaired numerous vintage race cars.  To top it off, Mike was a metal processing specialist for the United States Air Force and also has experience as an electronic technician.


 

John Belgarde - Fabricator: John has been working metal since 2001.  Since then, he has "machined" a living out of various different types of metals.  John began fabricating for JDCR in 2007, and has been our main source for fabricated safety and suspension parts since.



  

Robert English: Background in automotive off road and diesel mechanics. Federal Mogal Brake certified. Rob also has welding and fabrication experience. Rob is a hard working individual and does whatever it takes to get the job done.

 
Curly Page - Curly has completed a 4 year machining apprenticeship and has 4 years of experience as a shop foreman, 9 years of experience as a machinist with large horizontal borer and milling machines, and extensive threading / nut&bolt experience.  He's worked with large workpiece multi set-up machining with very close tolerances on both horizontal borer and milling machines in one of the largest machine shops in Australia.  Curly spent 8 years working as a mechanic for various body shops in Australia and helped prep racecars (mainly sprint and modified dirt cars).  Curly has won Apprentice and Tradesman of the Year awards in Australia.


Robert Lebel -
Responsible for the shops suspension, chassis design, and tuning, Rob performs all our corner balance, race alignment, shock dyno services, and trackside engineering. Rob started showing aptitude for the competitive automotive field at a young age, competing in pit crew competitions and other automotive knowledge competitions starting in the 10th grade. Fast forward through college, Rob got his start in the racing community with J&L fabricating. This foundation led to him moving into pro-racing, moving up through the ranks as a subassembly specialist and pit stop strategist, responsible for some of the fastest pit stops in ALMS. Eventually Rob became the lead mechanic of the Mazda Lola ALMS P2 Car, winning races like Petit Le Mans and Limerock Grand Prix. Rob was also responsible for podium finishes in Ferrari Challenge and assorted SCCA Pro racing events.
